SCIENCE | Researchers have created a method for sequencing the genome of a single cell which has revealed the beauty and perfect geometry within its nucleus (image shown left).

ARCHITECTURE | London-based design group ecoLogicStudio has created a living "biocurtain" that captures one kilogram of carbon dioxide per day – the same as 20 large trees.

MILITARY + TECH | Are killer robots becoming a reality? And if so, who will regulate the companies developing them without oversight? Weapons built by defense manufacturers are getting smarter with little legislation therefore we must think ahead of the implications.

PHILOSOPHY | Did we lose our sense of time? From streaming TV to to Instagram to the Internet, has culture and our sense of time flattened?

SPECULATIVE THINKING |  Trust Support is our new favourite platform rethinking uncertain times with artists, students, designers, researchers and like-minded curious minds. In their new site they have created a stream of videos and interviews really worth watching.

LISTENING | Discover our favourite podcast Hidden Brain, helping curious people understand the world – and themselves though science and storytelling,
